Camping with hippos
At Leobo, we offer the rare opportunity to camp near these incredible animals, with a spacious 4-man tent set in a large treehouse above the hippo dam. From this safe and elevated spot, you can watch as the hippos emerge from the water at night to graze. The experience often begins with a sundowner around the fire at Hippo Deck, and for the truly adventurous—often the kids—a night spent in the treehouse under the guidance of an experienced guide.
