Your Stay

The Observatory is a truly one-of-a-kind luxury experience.

Ultimate private luxury

Your stay at the Observatory will be entirely different from any traditional lodge or Big-Five game reserve. With access to your exclusive luxury villa, you'll spend your days and nights discovering a deeper connection to your surroundings, with your own private landscape catering to any desire you may have during your stay.

Observatory private villa

The Observatory at Leobo is a state-of-the-art private villa, located in the heart of everywhere and nowhere, overlooking the Palala Valley in the Waterberg region. Designed by the visionary architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, the Observatory stands as a masterpiece of African design and architecture and the recipient of multiple notable awards.

Highlights at the villa

The Observatory at Leobo Private Reserve, designed by architects Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens, is a stunning blend of cutting-edge design and the raw beauty of the African landscape. Luxurious en-suite bedrooms with custom-made furniture and panoramic views set the stage, while an infinity pool and rooftop Jacuzzi add to the experience. The true highlight, however, is the research-grade astronomical observatory, where guests can stargaze in a setting that seamlessly merges design with nature.
